Kieran Marsh, our founder,
qualified as one of the UKs youngest accountants before attaining an MSc in
Business Finance. With over 40 years experience in industry, largely at
CEO/CFO-level, Kieran brings a wealth of commercial experience to bear.

- CFO for one of the countrys leading independent Insurance Brokers, initially focussing on organic growth. The business made over 55 acquisitions, growing the business in the lead up to a £150m sale.
- Extensive experience of MBO / MBIs, acquisitions (including a PLC) and disposals.
- Client base includes SMEs and also blue-chip clients including Cooperative, AXA and Aviva and other PLCs.
- One of the leading experts in the UK on the FSA and has delivered keynote speeches across the UK.
- Analysed over 3,000 brokers Statutory Accounts and presented to the FSA that over 400 could fail the Capital Resources Requirement from January 2008. This precipitated an action by the FSA to write to over 600 brokers who had a potential exposure.
- Publicly advised distressed brokers not to sell but fix the Goodwill challenge.
- BIBA Scheme member, 2005 to 2008, for FSA Financial Compliance. During this period, advised on BIBAs best selling Compliance Manual, the Client Money Calculation and also established guidelines for Eric Galbraithe to publish advice on Goodwill and its treatment by BIBA broker members.
- We have carried out more FSA Compliance Health Checks on brokers throughout the UK since 2005 than many leading compliance specialists, including the widely reported AXA Compliance Health Checks.
- Trained hundreds of leading Insurer Account Managers on FSA Compliance.
